**GOOD MORNING,**

This first block begins with Language Arts Writing. We should have Chromebooks available to us so that you may work on your neat copy or rough draft of your opinion essay. I will reserve at least 30 to 40 minutes of this block for you to explore the classroom website. I will lead us through the navigation and links available to you for every curricular area.

The middle block begins with Mathematics. We will quickly review what we have learned about decimals and I will use the anchor charts to demonstrate exemplars. You will then receive the decimals test (add, subtract, multiply, and divided by base 10 + word problems). Once you have completed the test, you will find an activity (rough copy of your opinion essay, Visual Arts colour task, word search,….) to quietly work at your desk. NO TALKING ALLOWED!!!!

The final block of the day begins with MME who will work with you on a “non-french” activity. The final period of the day is Physical Education in the Gymnasium. We will conduct a warm up task first followed by a cooperative game with Mr. Murphy’s grade 6 class. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITIES!!!

**TODAY’S LEARNING GOALS: I can……**
